**Hot Tub** The hot tub is thoroughly cleaned and water balanced before your arrival. Please do not add anything to the water. If the hot tub needs attention during your stay, please contact Margaret, our local co host. —Hot Tub use is at your own risk— **Pet Policy and Fee** Up to two well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed. A $100 pet fee applies. On Airbnb, please add your dog as a guest when booking so the pet fee is applied correctly. For more details, see our House Rules. **Wildlife Advisory** River Symphony is nestled in a natural mountain setting where guests may encounter deer, black bears, squirrels, snakes, spiders, and other wildlife. These encounters are part of the mountain environment. Please do not feed or approach wildlife, and never leave food in your vehicle. Keep vehicles locked when unattended. **Internet & Power Outages** High-speed cable internet is provided, but storms may occasionally cause brief power or internet outages. The cottage does not have a generator. Guests who rely on electrically powered medical equipment should make appropriate arrangements in advance. **EV Charging** EV charging is not available at the cabin. **Fire Pit Usage** Fire pit use may be restricted during county burn bans or periods of elevated fire danger. We do try to notify guests if restrictions are in place during their stay. **Vehicle Recommendations** The road leading to the cottage includes an incline. Most vehicles manage the drive without issue, but low-clearance sports cars are not recommended. During winter weather, AWD or 4WD vehicles are strongly recommended when snow or ice is present. **Chimney Rock & Local Area** Chimney Rock and the surrounding communities continue to rebuild and recover following Hurricane Helene. While the area has changed, there are still wonderful restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities to enjoy throughout Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, and the surrounding area. your visit helps support local businesses and the community's continued recovery. **Road Conditions** Road Repairs and improvements continue throughout Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Please allow extra travel time and expect occasional detours or changing road conditions. Access tot he cottage remains open, and we'll share important updates with guests when needed. **Laundry** The cottage does not have a washer or dryer. Ther nearest laundromat is approximately 14 miles away, about a 22-minute drive. **Respect for Property** Please treat our cottage with care and let us know promptly if anything need attention during your stay. Our local co-host is nearby and available to assist, but there is not on-site staff available 24/7. **Travel Insurance** For peace of mind, all guests are strongly encouraged to carry travel insurance for the duration of their stay. Travel insurance may help protect against unforeseen circumstances, travel interruptions, or other unexpected events before or during your trip. Refund requests outside of our cancellation policy should be directed to your travel insurance provider.

Nearby attractions include Chimney Rock State Park, the waterfall featured in The Last of the Mohicans (with seasonal views from the cottage), Lake Lure, and plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure, including hiking, zip lining, boating, and river tubing. Prefer to stay in? Cozy up by the fire, soak in the hot tub, sway in the hammock, and let the soothing sounds of the Broad River become your backdrop. River Symphony is also within an hour of Downtown Asheville and within easy reach of Hendersonville, Biltmore Estate, mountain wineries and breweries, apple orchards, and charming mountain communities. Enjoy exclusive access to the entire top floor of the cabin, providing complete privacy throughout your stay. Our hassle-free self-check-in process makes it easy to settle in and make yourself at home any time after 4:00 PM. The lower level is used solely for storage and is off-limits to guests, so you will not share any living space with others during your stay. Our dedicated local Co-Host, Margaret, lives just 3 miles away and is available to assist with any questions or needs that may arise.
